Tisha Cerioni-Zafferano graduated from CSU Fresno with a BA in Communications and is currently employed as a National Account Executive for Electronic Recyclers International.  Introduced to Kettlebells a year and a half ago, Kettlebell training quickly became her workout of choice for the simple reason that Kettlebell workouts are the perfect solution for cardio, resistance & flexibility training combined in one workout. Kettlebell training gets your heart pumping and strengthens your muscles and core - it is a workout that truly provides great results in all areas! Training under her mentor Dina Juve - RKC Certified Russian Kettlebell Instructor, Tisha was able to reduce her workout time and achieve great results with the unique training options Kettllebell workouts offer.  Tisha has always enjoyed working out and living a healthy and fit lifestyle, but Kettlebell training has allowed for more balance in her life.  Spending less time in the gym has created that balance Tisha needed to focus her attention on all the things that are important priorities in her life.  When you feel and see results from a workout, balancing life seems to come easy. Kettlebell training has truly become Tisha’s passion and she became a Certified Kettlebell Trainer with the Kettlebell Institute in Spring of 2012! Tisha knows the benefits of Kettlebell training are undeniable and loves teaching and sharing the experience with others!

In 2003, Heather Kane’s physical therapist recommended that she try a yoga class at her local gym.  She had been suffering from neck and back pain for months with little relief.  Heather was hesitant to try the yoga class since she was certain that she would be forced to try a headstand!  Surprisingly, she fell in love with it!    After consistently attending the yoga class for a few weeks, Heather noticed that her neck and back pain was gone.  Heather was now so “addicted” to yoga that she decided to teach the class that she fell in love with.  Heather has taught individuals and groups as well as all ages.   Heather’s goal is to help the person who has never taken a yoga class to not feel intimidated or overwhelmed.   She wants that person to finish the class feeling relief from muscle tension and stress.  For the seasoned Yogi, Heather’s goal is to give a good workout and help refine what that person is already good at.  Heather is also Kettlebell Certified through the KBI Institute.

Heather has lived in Clovis for most of her life.  She has the honor of being the wife of Jim since 1998, mother to Grace since 1999 and Ryan since 2002.  She is passionate about her faith in Jesus, family time, being outdoors, camping, rock climbing, and cooking.

Kristen enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and working out is part of her daily routine.  It was difficult for her to find the time to manage her workouts and career in the health industry.  Kristen was introduced to Kettlebells through Dina Juve and immediately became hooked on this workout.  Kettlebells have given her the solution to balancing her busy career and passion for working out.  Kristen was able to achieve better and quicker results in a shorter time through Kettlebells.  Kristen became a certified Kettlebells Instructor with the Kettlebell Institute in the spring of 2012 and now teaches classes at FitnessSocial Studio.  She is excited to help others achieve their goals and quick results through Kettlebells and TRX.

Amber Wells has been a certified massage therapist for over 12 years and is passionate about all things related to health, beauty and overall wellness.  In the last year she has expanded her certifications in the fitness industry as well by becoming a Certified Kettlebell Trainer with the Kettlebell Institute in the spring of 2012 and TRX certified in March of 2013.   Kettlebells, TRX® and Battling Ropes have given Amber’s body the balance and strength that has flowed into all areas of her life.  She now knows she can achieve the results she desires quickly and pain free.  She no longer suffers from chronic back pain or has a body that has been overworked in the gym.  TRX® and Kettlebells have been instrumental in helping Amber achieve this goal.  What she loves most about teaching TRX® and Kettlebells is that it can be applied to any fitness level, from top level athletes to those with little or no exercise experience.

In addition to teaching classes at FitnessSocial Studio, Amber also has her own business, Amber WellSpa, located inside FitnessSocial Studio.  On top of being a certified massage therapist, Amber is also a licensed esthetician that provides facials, DiamondTome™ microdermabrasion, waxing, organic-based spray tans and also carries the Epicuren® skin care line.  Come take a class from Amber at FitnessSocial Studio and then book your next spa service with her.

In her spare time Amber enjoys spending time with her daughter, researching the latest health and beauty products, and meditation.

Lani Chevoya

Lani Chevoya has a background as a competitive athlete and a passion for healthy eating. She has played Division I soccer at the University of New Mexico where she received All Western Athletic Conference honors. In addition, she has successfully completed long distance races in marathon and half marathon’s. Lani enjoys a variety of fitness regimens and pushing herself. Lani was looking to get back into shape after having two boys. She started taking Kettlebells in late 2011 from Dina and Tisha and immediately noticed the relief in her back and the fast results. In 2012, she was introduced to TRX and immediately loved the suspension style training and how it engages the whole body. In the summer of 2012 Lani got her certification in “TRX Group Training”. Lani is excited to be an instructor a FitnessSocial Studio and hopes to give you a great workout!

Stephanie Province

Stephanie is a native Texan who moved to California in 2004. She has been in the health and fitness industry for over eight years and has worked with clients of all ages and ability levels. Her journey towards a healthy, active lifestyle began her senior year of high school with the desire to change her own body. Several years later, Stephanie decided to enter the health and fitness profession to assist others in achieving their own lifestyle transformations. Stephanie was introduced to Kettlebells two years ago and found them a great addition to workout routine.

Stephanie is a certified Pilates Mat and Equipment instructor, ACE certified personal trainer, KBI Kettlebell certified, and TRX instructor.  In addition to her training certifications, Stephanie holds a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. Stephanie also has worked within the public health arena developing and promoting physical activity programs to underserved populations.

In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys traveling with her husband, hiking, running, reading up on the latest industry information, and just about any activity that will get her moving!

Heidi Mendez graduated with a BA in English Communications & is currently working as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Daiichi Sankyo.   Heidi has a background in personal training & competing in local & national figure competitions.  Her love for fitness began after she hit a personal low with her weight about a year after she was involved in a tragic car accident in which both her mother and brother passed away.  Heidi turned to food and an unhealthy lifestyle to numb the pain, but soon realized that this was not the life she was intended to live.  Seeking direction, she hired a personal trainer & learned about eating healthy foods, strength & cardiovascular training and soon began to see changes in not only her body but the whole direction of her life. This strong foundation of knowledge has become a passion that has become her way of life. 
 
Always eager to try a new fitness activity, Heidi took her 1st Kettlebell class from Dina Juve and Tish Cerioni-Zafferano last year, 6 months after she had her daughter.  The results she got in a short period of time exceeded her expectations and this phenomenal comprehensive workout has become her primary fitness focus.  Heidi got KBI certified in October 2012 so that she could teach & share with others the amazing results that Kettlebells offer.  In March of 2013 Heidi received her TRX certification.

Aaron Hunter is an undergraduate student at Fresno State working towards a degree in Exercise Science to eventually become a physical therapist.  He is certified through the Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification and has been utilizing Kettlebell since 2006. Kettlebells have been the workout of choice for Aaron because of the functional strength and conditioning they provide. He is enthusiastic about healthy living, eating, and making exercise not just a workout but a hobby.  Always looking to improve and try new things, Aaron mixes his workouts with everything from double Kettlebells, to bicycling, rock climbing, body weight training, and anything else that catches his eye. Having worked with Dina in the past, Aaron is excited to get back into the swing of things at FitnessSocial. In January of 2013 Aaron received his HKC Hard Style certification in kettlebells.
